Picasso once said: “There is no abstract art. You must start with something. Afterward you can remove all traces of reality.” Like Picasso, my personal artistic vision starts with what most would call an “abstract” view of reality. My work is my attempt to portray my own abstract view of reality while using a medium that some would consider the most realistic there is.
I have grown up in in Atlanta, GA and have lived in the Atlanta area my whole life. My dad who once was a professional photographer put a camera in my hands when I was eight years old and ever since then I have loved it. After graduating from Reinhardt College with a BFA in photography I am moving to Athens, GA to get further into children and wedding photography.
